About Tab

Select "About" on a Tagger Profile to see anything from public information like the Profile's location, Category, or connected social handles to information that users within the Organization have added, like a mailing address or Custom Fields.

Profile Merge and Profile Refresh

Profile Merge

If there are two Tagger Profiles for the same Creator, users can merge them. To do so, select the ellipsis, then select "Merge Profile."

For example, if a Creator has two Profiles on Tagger, one that contains their Instagram handle, one their Twitter handle, merge the Profiles to house all data from both handles in one Profile.

- Tagger Tip -

If a Creator has two Profiles on Tagger, the Profile that includes an Instagram Handle should be in the Primary Profile column.

Profile Refresh

When viewing a Profile, keep in mind that the connected APIs refresh the information on a schedule. The information contained within a Profile may not always be up-to-date. To populate a Profile's most recent data, run a refresh. To do so, follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Select the ellipsis.

Step 2:

Select "Refresh Profile."

  • Collecting the most recent data from the linked platform APIs assures that the Profile contains the most up-to-date information available, including Creator content and all the Tagger-calculated metrics that accompany that content.

Basic Information

The "Basic Information" element houses essential information about a Profile, all of which is editable at any time. To change the information here, select the desired field and make the desired changes.

Please note, changes made within the Basic Information section will be visible to all users on Tagger. The Basic information element on the About tab contains the following data:

  • Location: Tagger uses an array of autonomous signals to determine profile location.

    • On occasion, the location assigned to the Profile may be inaccurate or outdated. Select "Location," housed within Basic Information, and type in the Profile's updated location.

  • Gender: Choose the selected Profile's gender here, if applicable. The available options are 'Male,' 'Female,' and 'Other.'

    • Please note, gender selection will be unavailable for Profiles marked as a 'Brand.'

  • Profile Type and Category: Choose a Profile Type and subsequent Category for the selected Profile.

  • Profile Name: Alter a Profile's name; changes made here will reflect across Taggers Platform.

Social Platforms

Next is the 'Social Platforms' element. Add or edit social handles to a Profile within this section. All edits made in the Social Platforms element are visible to all Tagger users.

To add or edit a platform, follow the steps below:

Step 1:

Select "Add Platform".

Step 2:

Select the desired platform to add or edit.

  • Choose from the following:

    • Instagram

    • YouTube

    • Twitter

    • Facebook

    • TikTok

    • Snapchat

    • Twitch

    • Pinterest

    • Website/Blog

Step 3:

Copy and paste the full URL of the social profile into the 'URL' field.

Step 4:

Select "Add," then view the profile addition.

Third-Party Authorization Status

Within the About tab, Tagger displays the account status regarding authorization for both Instagram and YouTube. To determine authorization status, Tagger uses the following color-coded system:

  • Instagram

    • Red: The selected Profile is not an Instagram Business/Creator Account.

    • Yellow: The selected Profile is a Business/Creator Account but is not authorized.

      • Insights data (for example, impressions and story data) is not available.

    • Green: The selected Profile is a Business/Creator and is authorized. Therefore insights data is available.

  • YouTube

    • Red: The selected Profile is not authorized.

    • Green: The selected Profile is authorized, which provides additional access to YouTube post metrics within Campaigns.

Organization Default

Organization Defaults, such as the selected Profile's bio, are displayed in the left-hand pane. Users can customize cells within Organization Defaults, and changes will only reflect within a user's Organization.

Customize the following information within an Organization:

  • Photo: Allows users to input a custom avatar photo for the selected profile. Add a photo here to update the Profile Photo within the Agency Portal, Collaborator Portal, and Report Builder.

  • Background Photo: Input a custom background photo for the selected Profile. Update the background photo on a Profile within the Agency Portal and the Collaborator Portal.

  • Email Address: Input an email address for the selected Profile.

    • If this information is publicly available over the connected APIs, Tagger will populate this information to all users.

    • To edit a Creators email, select the email section. Changes made here will only be seen by other users within the same organization.

      • Please note, editing the email address here changes the email for the Creator in new Campaigns within the Organization but will not affect any existing Campaigns.

  • Mailing Address: Add a mailing address to a Creator's Profile.

    • Tagger understands that a Creator's mailing address is sensitive information, so no data from this field is shared outside the user's Organization.

  • Bio: Add or edit the biography displayed on the left-hand pane of the Profile. Edits made to a Profile's bio will only reflect within the user's Organization.

    • Please note, changes made here will reflect in Report Builder.

Profile Custom Field Information

Custom Fields may be created and edited in the 'Custom Fields' section of Organization Settings. Custom Fields allow Admins to track custom information not easily captured using the default options. Any elements located below the 'Organizational Defaults' element are Profile Custom Fields created within the user's Organization.

There are seven unique types of Custom Fields available:

  • Small Textbox

  • Large Textbox

  • Dropdown

  • Multi-select Dropdown

  • Date

  • Attachment

  • Number

To learn more about the creation of Custom Fields, head over to the Custom Field Tab.
