How Does Tagger Collect Data?

Wonder where Tagger gets its data?

Updated over a week ago

In order to collect and analyze any data, Tagger has built API integrations with supported platforms. An API, or Application Programming Interface, is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk. This connection enables the collection of available data through the relevant reporting APIs of different social platforms. 'Public Data' refers to data obtained over public APIs.

If a Creator opts-in or signs in to Tagger and allows permissions with their Instagram Account, additional Instagram Business Account metrics can be provided, such as reach, impressions, or story metrics. These first-party data points are available to advertisers who use the Creator's profile in Campaigns run on the Tagger platform and only on the content that surfaces in those Campaigns. Tagger pulls this data into Campaign Reports, which allows users to measure the success of Campaigns, estimate the number of people that might purchase their products following promotion, and measure campaign ROI.

Tagger does not collect or display anything that advertisers, brands, or anyone else on the internet would not be able to see by looking at your public online social profile/page. Tagger adheres to all social platform applicable Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.
