Engagement Rate on Tagger

Engagement rate is available in several locations throughout Tagger. By default, Tagger calculates engagement rate as the number of engagements over the number of followers. However, we know not everyone measures engagement rate like that, so we allow users to change the engagement rate calculation within their organization, a specific campaign, or even a specific content type.

Organization Settings

Users can change the engagement rate calculation within Organization Settings. The customizations made here will reflect in any new campaigns. To make customizations, follow the steps below:

Step: 1

Go to Organization Settings.

Step: 2

Select Metrics.

Step: 3

Select Engagement Rate.

Step: 4

Select the desired social platform.

Step: 5

Find the desired content type, then use the dropdown menu to select the method of the engagement rate calculation for that specific type of content.

Step: 6

Be sure to select Save.

Campaign Settings

To change how the engagement rate is calculated within specific Campaigns, head to the Campaign Settings, then follow the steps below:

Step: 1

From the Campaign Settings sidebar, select Metrics.

Step: 2

Select Engagement Rate

Step: 3

Select the desired social platform.

Step: 4

Select the desired content type, then select the calculation for engagement rate from the drop-down menu for that specific content.

Step: 5

Please be sure to select Save before you navigate away from this element.

🔹 Tagger Tip 🔹

The engagement rate will not be displayed in the Campaign Summary if the necessary metrics do not accompany the selected calculation method to complete the calculation.

For example, suppose you select the engagement rate calculation as engagements over reach, but no posts in the Campaign have reach as a populated metric. In that case, the engagement rate can not be calculated.
