Create a Signals Report

Use Signals to create a report surrounding a specific query

Updated over 2 years ago

Signals is a powerful engine that can be utilized in numerous ways. To begin creating a Signals Report, follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1:

Go to the Signals home page by selecting the Signals Icon from the navigation bar, or clicking 'Go to Signals.'

This is where users can create Signals Reports from scratch or edit existing Reports.

Step 2:

Choose from one of four types of reports surrounding specific Topic(s), Mention(s), Profile(s), or Custom parameters:

  • Topic - Analyze posts that include exact keywords, phrases, or hashtags

  • Mentions - Analyze posts that have mentioned specific Profiles or Labels

  • Profiles - Analyze existing posts that by specific Profiles or Labels

  • Custom - Analyze posts that fit into any combination of available filters

Select 'Custom' to create a more complex report query. This page operates identically to the 'Edit Parameters' option within an existing report.

Leaving the date range blank will cause the report to include relevant data from the previous 90 days. If the end date is left blank, the end date is open-ended. This means that anytime a report is revisited, Signals will override the end date and update the report with the most recent data.

Step 3:

View the information in Tagger's Signals Report Layout.
